Bells
are ringing, people are singing, and somewhere a young man with a green
and gold painted face is frantically jumping in the air screaming
‘‘who’s dynamite?’’ This can only mean one thing: the holiday
tournaments are here.
Basketball
Boys- brought their record to 2-1 after placing 3rd in the Webster Groves Tournament on Dec. 7-9.

will be competing in the Meramac Holiday Festival Tournament from Dec.
26-30 at Meramac CC and plan to take care of business.
"We have a lot better team than last year, so we should dominate the tournament," said
Sam Lane (12).
Girls-
with a 1-3 record, they will participate in the Seckman Tournament from
Dec. 26-29. They are confident that their sophomore and junior-led team
can snatch a placing trophy.

Wrestling
Recently
held the Flyer Classic Sat. Dec. 9. Due to the absence of key
wrestlers, the tournament didn’t go exactly as planned for the Flyers,
but the excitement was still palpable inside the gym as the matches
went on.
"The atmosphere was awesome and the LHS student body was very supportive of our team, even though we took 5th place," said
Sam Farazmand (12).
Girls’ Swimming
Will
host an Invitational Tournament scheduled for tomorrow, Dec. 16. They
look to show off their skills against Conference foes such as
Marquette, Lafayette, and Mehlville.
