Fantasy is the way to go

It is football season and that means only one thing…Fantasy Football. Something men and even women devote much time to all across America.
This imaginary game has distracted employees from their jobs and has brought down work productivity. This "season" has cost employers up to $1.1 billion on a weekly bases. The problem is that it cannot be banned from work.
"I have played fantasy football with co-workers, but it is done entirely outside of school. We don’t really have a choice, because we cannot access the website at school. I am sure that it keeps some other people from doing their job," said Eric Cochran, history teacher.
Employers are fearful that morale in the work place will plummet at extreme rates if this fad continues. But most employers have concluded that it is much better to just let it go. Therefore the majority of workplaces do not have it blocked.
The game of fantasy football is nothing more than a gamble. No matter how many top-notch players are drafted, there is never any guarantee that they will be the best team. Many things factor in. Injuries are the most difficult to get by.
"I got first place last year and if Donovan McNabb doesn’t get hurt this year I will kick butt," said Brett Parrott (10).
Another thing to look for is the behavior of players on and off the field. One of the current examples is Michael Vick, quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. Due to his recent suspension from the NFL on dogfighting charges, anyone that picked up Vick in an early draft is now without a quarterback.
The season kicked off yesterday with a match up between the New Orleans Saints and Super Bowl champions, The Indianapolis Colts.
