Summer is quickly approaching and it’s time to start planning what to do. Seeing a movie is a great time to kick back, relax and have fun with your friends and family.

These upcoming summer movie releases should give you a lot to look forward to. With a wide range of categories ,there is a flick to suit everyone’s taste. Wether you want to cry, or even cry laughing.

Kung Fu Panda is a cute and funny film. Po the panda dreams of being a martial arts master, but is in reality a fat, lazy, black and white slob. It turns out Po needs to transform into the legendary "Chosen One" because he is needed to save the day.

"Kung Fu Panda looks really funny. You can’t go wrong when Jack Black is in a movie," said Sofia Shamija (10)

Those who want to see a movie that is a little more down to earth may enjoy Encounters At the End of the World. For the first time, an outsider has been admitted into a hidden society at the end of the world. One thousand men and women live together under unbelievably close quarters in Antarctica, risking their lives and sanity, in search of cutting-edge science. Werner Herzog and his camera crew traveled to Antarctica with rare access to the beauty and humanity of the Antarctic.

After mankind abandons its trashed home planet, one garbage-collecting robot spends seven centuries cleaning up the mess. Over the years, WALL*E evolves a personality that is considerably warmer and fuzzier than the looks of his rusty exterior. The movie may be an animated feature such as the likes of Monster’s Inc. but it should attract all ages of customers.

Nineteen years have passed since Indy went gallivanting off to Venice to look for his missing father.

Steven Spielberg and the crew of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull are insanely tight-lipped about the details of this new movie, but we do know that Indy will be facing off with Agent Irina Spalko, an icy Communatrix who competes with him to acquire a mysterious artifact. Indy will also have a new sidekick in the new release.

"I have seen so many commercials for the new Indiana Jones Movie. It looks really good so I will definitely go see it when it comes out," Kenny Olsen (9)

With all the movies that are coming out this summer talk has started early. From cute and funny, to cuddly and romantic, and even as far as the end of the world, the list of plot lines is never ending. But who’s to know which of them wil

l fare well at the box office.
